Designed for conveying (Spirotec) and compacting (Compactec) residue after draining, this equipment completes a ROTOFILTRATEC or UFEL plant or equivalent unit.
The drained
residue is collected in a hopper and then conveyed by a coreless screw
to the compacting area (Compactec only).
Setting the pressure exerted by a valve on the closed cap in the compacting
area allows the compression rate to be adjusted (in the region of 20 to
40% of dry material depending on the kind of residue).
Fluids are cleared away through a pipe. The compacting strainer can be
cleaned by means of a washing ramp.
